UWU has joined with Equal Opportunity Commissioner, Jodeen Carney in calling for a review into workplace culture in the hospitality industry in SA.
We are rolling out a survey into all pubs, cafe, clubs & accomodation. We want to hear from workers on how we can improve the industry and conditions in hospitality.
The information from the survey will be kept confidential. Workers can remain anonymous when completing the survey. Only percentages will be published from the report via the website here.

The United Workers Union is a member-led union of over 150,000 workers, harnessing our collective power to change the lives of all working people in ways we couldn’t alone. Together, UWU members are fighting for respect, fair pay, safer workplaces, job security, our communities and the environment.
Ensuring fair treatment in the workplace is just one of the reasons people join. Everything that is good about our working lives was won by union members – including minimum wage, the weekend, equal pay for women, sick leave, penalty rates, health & safety laws, medicare and superannuation. With your help, we can improve workplace culture in hospitality and protect workers from harassment.
Every worker has the right to join their union.
